The Aleuts. Demographics: Population Dynamics, Urban/Rural Population, Gender and Age Breakdown

The total number of Aleuts, according to the 2020 All-Russian Population Census, is 399 people (194 men and 205 women).

According to the census of 2002, there were 540 urban and rural dwellers (262 men and 278 women) among the Commander Aleuts. They lived mostly in the Kamchatka region (446 persons). In 2010, the number of Aleuts was 482, of which 401 reside in the Kamchatka Territory. Most of them are rural residents living in the village of Nikolskoye, 327 persons (68%). The urban population was 155 persons (32%). In both the urban and the rural population, men slightly predominate (according to the All-Russian Census of 2010).

As of 2016, according to the administration of the Aleut municipal district of the Kamchatka Territory, the number of Aleuts living in the village of Nikolskoye is 336 people.
